P0335 — Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

P0335 means the ECM lost or can't interpret the crankshaft position signal. Expect hard starting or a no-start — this sensor tells the engine when to fire.

1. Failed crankshaft position sensor — Heat-related failures are typical — it may run fine cold and quit when hot. ($150–$450)
