Strong airflow but the air is room-temperature means the blower motor and cabin filter are fine — the refrigerant loop is the problem. Ninety percent of the time it's low refrigerant (a slow leak at an O-ring, condenser, or evaporator). Less common: a stuck blend door actuator sending you heater-core air instead of evaporator air (listen for clicking behind the dash), or a failing compressor clutch. If the driver side is cold but passenger warm — or vice versa — that's the blend door, not refrigerant.
